Hogtown Hamburger seasoning makes the ultimate Cheeseburger! It is everything you want from this classic family staple.

Ingredients

• 1 kg medium ground beef
• 2 tbsp Hamburger seasoning
• 8 buns
• 8 slices of old cheddar cheese,
• 3 leaves lettuce, torn into pieces
• 2 medium tomato, sliced thin
• 1 medium sweet onion, sliced thin
• 1 clove fresh garlic
• 1/4 cup salted butter

Instructions

• Mix 2 tablespoons of Hogtown Hamburger with 1 kg of med ground beef
• 8 equal patties (approximately 4" diameter) remember the patties will shrink
• Grill for 4 mins a side
• Baste each side with a thin layer of honey Dijon mustard
• Once you have flipped the burger once, add a slice of old cheddar cheese, turn down to low and let it melt.
• Grill buns with garlic butter on top rack

Garnish

• Tomato, sliced
• Red or Sweet onion, sliced
• Lettuce
• Pickles (optional)
• Add your favourite condiments

Notes

Remember to preheat grill or griddle to med to high heat for a good sear.

• Medium-Well: 150-155°F (66-69°C) – Mostly brown with a touch of pink in the center. 
• Well Done: 160°F (71°C) and above – Fully browned throughout, with a firm texture.
