Kefta, a ground beef kebab which is a popular Lebanese and Middle Eastern staple, is a delicious alternative to Hamburger night, which is easy to prepare.
Ingredients
Instructions
- Add 1 kg of Ground beef to a large bowl
- Add 3 tbsp Hogtown Kebab seasoning, 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- Mince the onion, garlic, and parsley and add them to the bowl.
- Mix the ingredients until well combined.
- If you are in a pinch or short on time, you can skip step three.
- Cut tomatoes, onions, and peppers in half and peppers in quarters.
- Skewer the meat on flat metal skewers (if you are using wood skewers, remember to soak them to prevent burning).
- Alternatively, shape it into cylindrical pieces, similar to a hog dog.
- Cooking Method:
- BBQ: Grill the meat, as no extra oil is required, since the beef naturally renders a lot of fat. Cooking time is 10-12 minutes on medium heat.
- Oven: Place the meat on a cookie sheet with a rack and add the vegetables. Bake in a 400-degree oven for 10-12 minutes.
- Stove Top: In a large stovetop pan, add the kebabs and cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes. Flip over mid-cook.
