Manchurian Fried Rice is a vibrant, hearty Indo-Chinese fusion dish. It’s the ultimate 'meal-in-a-bowl'. Unlike standard fried rice, which is usually a side dish, this Chicken Manchurian is a full meal, seasoned to perfection with Hogtown Manchurian seasoning for that authentic, bold flavour.

Instructions
Prepare the Rice
- Rinse the basmati rice until the water runs clear.
- Boil 4 cups of water in a pot to a boil.
- Add rinsed rice to the pot and simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes.
- After the 10 mins, cover with a lid and turn off the burner and let it sit for 10 more mins.
- At the end of the 10 mins, uncover and fluff the rice up and serve.
The Stir-Fry
- Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
- Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant but not burnt.
- Add the seasoned protein and stir-fry until cooked through and slightly browned.
- Push the meat to the side, crack the 4 eggs into the center, and scramble them quickly.
- Add the mixed vegetables and bean sprouts, tossing them with the meat and eggs for 1–2 minutes.
- Fold in the cooked rice. Toss vigorously on high heat to ensure the Manchurian seasoning from the meat coats the rice evenly. Optionally add 1 tbsp of seasoning at the end and mix well.
Notes
Garnish with cilantro and chopped green onions. Season as desired with soy sauce and hot chili oil.
