Creole Salmon

It’s a dish that manages to feel celebratory without being fussy. Our Creole Salmon is so flavourful and herbaceous. It is elegant, yet so easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Salmon, skinless, boneless - cut into individual portions

  • 1/2 tbsp of Hogtown Creole seasoning on each piece

  • 1/8 cup Neutral oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the Salmon fillet into individual portions.

  2. Sprinkle 1/2 tbsp of Hogtown Creole Seasoning on each.

  3. In a large pan, add the neutral oil and allow it to heat up. On a medium to high heat, add the Salmon to the pan. Turn the heat to medium and cook for 3 to 5 minutes a side.

  4. Once cooked to your desired doneness, set aside and let it sit for 7 to 10 minutes, allowing the Salmon to rest.

Notes

Important: Recommended temp salmon should reach an internal temperature of 70°C (158°F)

Serve with mashed potatoes or rice and your favourite greens.
